BIOTIC CONDITIONS

Rodents abundance evaluation:

high

Breeding conditions:

Rough-legged Buzzard and Long-tailed Skua bred successfully. Breeding success of the Willow Grouse was extremely high; that of waders seemed to be high also.
 

Rodent dynamics:

The abundance of Siberian Lemming was moderate, but it was high for Ruddy Vole and maximal for Narrow-skulled Vole.
